Abstract Many management styles in Chinese transnational companies have been formed since 2000 when the “Going Abroad” strategy was adopted by Chinese government. The paper reviews the research results on transnational human resource management and sums up the transnational HR management styles from the perspectives of organizational culture, strategic positioning, functional management and resource allocation. Finally, a theoretical frame of selecting the transnational HR management styles is provided.
