The Relationship between Human Resource Management Practice and Employee Attitudes: A Survey Study of 192 Private Small-and-Medium Size High-tech Firms in Pearl River Delta |

Abstract Using the data obtained from 1367 employees and 357 human resource managers from 192 private small-medium size high-tech firms from seven national technology development zones in Pearl River Delta, results from cross-level analyses indicate that network-building HR practices is strongly related to employee attitudes, and organizational support fully mediates the influence of network-building HR practices on employee attitudes. The theoretical and practical implications of the findings are also discussed.
