Abstract:In order to understand the practical effects and quality of bilingual education, the author has done a questionnaire study on the teaching modes, teaching effects, teaching resources, textbooks' selection and library resources at five colleges in a certain university. Some deficiencies are found and strategies are proposed on improving the quality of bilingual education in such aspects as teaching modes, construction of both teaching-teams and textbooks and bilingual environment.
