Abstract The model of the regional endogenous development has become the success development model of the impoverished area and rural regions abroad. It is important to the development of the rural regions, western area and mass poverty areas in China. The goals of the regional endogenous development include the realization the people’s all-round development, resources and scientific utilization, and economic, social and environmental effects. The main contents of the regional endogenous development include the regional endogenous development strengths, resources utilization and comprehensive benefits. The regional endogenous development units are the local government, local businesses and residents. From the perspectives of stakeholders such as industry, urban and countryside, it analyses the regional endogenous development mechanism in order to construct the regional endogenous development model and promote the regional endogenous development.
