Empirical Study of Supply Chain Knowledge Coordination and Clustered Firm’s Innovation Performance——Based on Organizational Learning Capability |

Abstract In recent years more and more research reports indicate that undue dependence on local information or knowledge will trap clustered firms in development. Deploying a local and ultra-local knowledge network therefore provides complementary resources for clustered firms. This paper states that supply chain organizations provide effective solutions for building local and ultra-local knowledge network for clustered firms. On the basis of the questionnaire surveys to 114 clustered manufacturing firms in ZheJiang province, this paper investigates knowledge coordination of local and ultra-local supply chain and demonstrates its utility for innovation in clustered firms and intermediation in organizational learning. It indicates the following three points: (1) local supply chain knowledge coordination brings appreciable and positive impact to innovation in clustered firms , and better at the tacit knowledge coordination; (2) ultra-local supply chain knowledge coordination makes remarkable and
