Abstract The rapid development of e-commerce has given birth to the global trading platform with powerful service function. At the same time, the development of the traditional international trade center is limited by the constraint of the city. As a new international trade center form, the Virtual International Trade Center (VITC) is beginning to reveal its clues. On the basis of the theory of e-commerce and International Trade Center, this paper puts forward the essential conditions for constructing the Virtual International Trade Center. Following the principles of having the same functions of the physical trade center, with market operation and government support, and positive interaction between the virtual and physical, this article builds a conceptual model of the Virtual International Trade Center and analyzes its internal function modules. At the end of the article, the support elements of building and running the Virtual International Trade Center are proposed and then the conclusion
