The Effect of TMT Value, Team Atmosphere on Conflict |

Abstract This study searched the effect of TMT value and team atmosphere on conflict. The results indicated that the correct performance value and self-regard power value heterogeneity had strong positive effects on task related conflict, the collectivism value had weak positive effect on task related conflict, while the self-regard power value and collectivism value heterogeneity had strong negative effects on task related conflict, the performance value heterogeneity had weak negative effect on it. And the research did not find relationship between value and relationship conflict. The analyses further indicated that openness, trust, and CEO collectivism had strong positive effects on task related conflict, openness, trust had strong negative effects on relationship conflict, while no relationship had be found between CEO collectivism and relationship conflict. The research also found that trust mediated the relationship between openness and conflict.
