Abstract:The contemporary American writer Barbara Kingsolver's latest novel Flight Behavior articulates personal account with the subject of climate change. In the process of helping save King Billies in southern Appalachia, USA, Dellarobia, the female protagonist, internalizes knowledge with faith and achieves a reconstruction of feminine subject from ego to ecological self. Moreover, the writing of scientific theme through fiction reveals an interdisciplinary perspective to approach the belief in feminine autonomy.
