The constant theme in Zhaxidawa’s novels is the focus and reflection on the cultural tradition of Tibetan. From “Pilgrimage” to “Tibet, the Hidden Years”, the author has changed simple criticism to profound rethinking . ZhaxiDawa’s writing is always rooted in Tibetan culture. He has been asking: What is Tibetan spirit exactly? How to exist? He gave his answers to us eventually. Therefore, ZaxiDava’s novels are“Tibetan”, and foreign to magical realist and absurdity.
