Abstract:The Postmodern is a reflection on and transcendence of modernity. A typical attitude of modernity is hegemony. Therefore, saying “no” to hegemony lies at the core of postmodern spirituality. This paper take Taking David Griffin, a leading figure in constructive postmodernism, as an Example to illustrate the theoretic orientation and moral Fortitude of Postmodern Thinkers including their resistance against various kinds of hegemony, speaking out for the weak, being dedicated to the common good of humans and nature, and the emphasis on “respect for otherness, listen to the others”.
Deconstructing is not their goal, looking for “the possible spiritual hometown” is.
