Abstract This paper reveals new descriptions of co-evolution between agricultural product processing industry and logistics industry on the medium level from perspective of cluster supply chain. The results show that the symbiotic relationship between agricultural product processing industry and logistics industry changes from dot symbiosis to line symbiosis, and then surface symbiosis, eventually to network symbiosis in the whole process from its formation, growth to maturity. During the process, the evolution ruling the symbiotic system is as follows: the resources change from separation to superposition; the symbiosis type changes from supply & demand type to complementary relationship; the symbiosis stability changes from unstable symbiosis to stable symbiosis. The symbiotic evolution of the two industries does not necessarily occur, and it is the result of interaction of the market and the government.
