Abstract Based on the strategic decision-making process theory, this paper firstly tests the function of regulating effect of TMT behavioral integration, long-term pay and strategic decision comprehensiveness on organizational ambidexterity through a large-scale pairing investigation of 654 executives of 327 enterprises from the Beijing-Tianjin-Tangshan, the Yangtze River Delta and Pearl River Delta region. The results revealed that TMT behavioral integration has significantly positive impact on organizational ambidexterity, and the strategic decision-making comprehensiveness plays a partial mediating role between TMT behavioral integration and organizational ambidexterity; meanwhile, long-term pay is a mediated moderator between TMT behavioral integration and organizational ambidexterity.
