| The Households’ Access to Credit in China：An Empirical Analysis Based on Micro-Data of CHFS |

Abstract Based on the questionnaire data from China Household Finance Survey(CHFS), the paper investigates the factors determining the households’ access to credit. The result indicates that, a higher level of education, the increase in household income and household assets can alleviate credit constraints that families face. The party membership, the university-level education can increase the availability of loans,the marginal effect of the age and risk appetite of household head is significantly negative, and although the urban households and eastern families receive more support, the urban households and eastern families face more credit constraints.
