Abstract With the development of China’s economy and the deepening of reform and opening up, under the impetus of economic globalization, FDI flow into China. This paper analyzes the industrial economics foundation of FDI into China, and the FDI influence to Chinese economy. The position of China in the international trade and change of the global factor endowment structure determine the large number of FDI inflows into China even for the next several decades. The FDI into China can be divided into Hong Kong and Macao foreign enterprises and other foreign enterprises. Their FDI strategic positioning is different, so the influence to Chinese economy is also different. “Increment reform” leads to the great imbalance of the Chinese regional and inter-industrial development. There is huge difference among industries and regions. The two FDI influences to Chinese economy also require respective study.
