Abstract The commercial format with Chinese characteristics has already headed for the business format model in which the commercial format and business format have been in crossover, convergence and both wholesale and retail business is conducted. From the perspective of market participants, the changes and development of specialized markets and the commercial format in Yiwu city have typically explained the formation reasons, the process, the connotation and the characteristics of this new model. In fact, a new model of business format with Chinese characteristics has developed. The paper believes that keeping functions of retail and wholesale unchanged is the core and developing E-commerce is an extension form. Furthermore, this paper builds three new models based on the transformation of business format and the wide extension of logistics space.
