An Empirical Study of the Effects of Compensation Equity on Female Managers’ Conscientiousness |

Abstract This article, based on a survey of 226 female managers in services industry in China, explores and analyses the impact of Compensation Equity and Perceived Organizational Support on female Managers’ Conscientiousness by utilizing Exploratory Factor Analysis, Confirmatory Factor Analysis and Hierarchical Multiple Regression. Results show that interactive justice and procedural justice positively affect day-to-day duties; interactive justice positively affects unity; and distributive justice positively affects striving. Results also show that Perceived Organizational Support has a complete mediating effect when interactive justice and procedural justice affect day-to-day duties, and Perceived Organizational Support has a complete mediating effect when interactive justice affects unity helpful.
