The Professional Managers' Trustworthy Behavior and Employees' Organizational Identification: the Role of Trust and Perceived Psychological Safety |

Abstract The organizational identification was one of important variables that affected the employees’ a series of organizational behaviors. It’s very significant to study the affecting factors and the mechanism that the factors affected each other. As the important top managers, the professional managers’ behaviors would influence the employees’ organizational identification. The paper found that there was a positive correlation between the professional managers’ trustworthy behaviors and the employees’ organizational identification. Both the employees’ cognition-based trust and affect-based trust played a partial mediating role and the perceived psychological safety played a moderated role between them. At the end of this paper some advices that can improve the employees’ perceived organizational identification were discussed.
