Abstract Along with interaction between manufacturing and logistics, it causes logistics service innovation and synergetic development of the two industries. This paper firstly gives a deep explanation of the interactive mechanism between manufacturing and logistics based on theories of core competence, synergy , symbiosis, it also analyses how industry interaction can work on logistics service innovation, the result show that interaction between manufacturing and logistics can promote logistics service innovation and facilitate the two industries developing jointly. In the end, this paper analyses the methods of logistics service innovation for manufacturing, including providing add service, implementing entire supply chain management, advancing industrial logistics.
