Abstract The flow of fresh agricultural products is an important part of the circulation of agricultural products in China. Farmer cooperatives play an important role in the development of China's fresh agricultural products circulation system. It can effectively resolve the contradiction between agricultural production and management process of small and medium-sized production with large market, and improve the organization and marketization of the circulation of fresh agricultural products. The paper analyzes the importance of farmer cooperatives in the circulation system of fresh agricultural products, and then puts forward the new circulation model based on farmer cooperatives, including direct sales, retailers docking, and leading enterprises docking. Finally, the paper offers suggestions for speeding up the development of the circulation system of fresh agricultural products in China.
