| Corporate Governance and Path Selection in Business Model Innovation |

Abstract Based on previous researches, this paper starts with a close analysis on the three dimensional factors which greatly affect the business model innovation. Then, a corresponding model is proposed here to study how different corporate governance models would affect the choice of firms’ business model innovation path. It is indicated that corporate governance mechanism plays a decisive role in business model innovation path selection by affecting the innovation motivation, risk preference and innovation level (novelty) of firm’s business model.
