Abstract From the emergence of “Upper Echelon Theory” to 1980s, top management team(TMT) researches focused on the effect of demographic traits on organizational performance. From middle-1990s to the beginning of this century, big amount of TMT process researches emerged. This paper reviewed the researches since 2003 on top management team. The review was based on the theory of team integration and included integration of resource and process, and the background of corporation governance and cross-cultural. The tendency of top management research being developed from resource integration to process integration and related methodology evolution were summarized.
