Abstract Basing on the data of “Chinese distributional firm top 30” and “global distributional firm top 30” from 2002 to 2005, in addition to exchange rate-conversion, I pose size-comparison wholly and individually, and the results show very large gap in turnover and in outlets between Chinese distributional firm top 30 and global distributional firm top 30, but this gap is being narrowed. On the other hand, if considering price-factor, and from the viewpoint of purchasing power parity to see these firms’ “real size”, this gap may be not obvious as under the first sight.
