Abstract This article firstly perfected the studying scale through the little sample survey to the venture capital firms and venture capital-backed firms of Xi’an, then, used the data from 112 venture capital-backed firms of four places of Nanjing, Hefei, Xi'an and Jinan, and the methods of reliability verification, exploratory factor analytic and canonical correlation analysis to study the relationship among partner selection, partnership and venture enterprise growth performance. The result of study shows that: in syndication of venture capital, the appropriate partner selection can promote the fostering of strong partnership and appropriate partner selection will be good at the venture enterprise growth performance and strong partnership can be good at the venture enterprise growth performance.
