This paper investigates the inter-organizational networks of Chinese foundations and its organizational impact through an exploratory multi-case analysis, with the aim of uncovering the phenomenon of interlocking directorate networks in China and its implications for social development. According to the study, there is a distinct interlocking directorate in the case foundations, and this network of interlocking directorate has a big impact on how well the foundations' charitable programs are funded and collaborated, which is an important factor in enhancing organizational performance. Through the interlocking directorate network, these foundations are linked together, forming an independent action capacity that effectively encourages the growth of the foundations. The thesis research offers a fresh perspective for improving comprehension of the law of foundation development and comprehending the network mechanism of public charity development in the context of building a better society for common prosperity.
