Abstract:The common values of humanity stand on the moral high ground of the world development and human progress. They aim to break the cultural barriers between different countries and regions and empower the people of the world to pursue a better life. They embody the global vision and responsibility of the Chinese Communists as a major country in the new era. The international dissemination of the common values of humanity has deep value implications for deconstructing the western discourse hegemony of “universal value”, consolidating the value foundation of building a community of shared future for mankind, and enhancing China's external discourse power and soft power. At present, the international communication of the common value of humanity is still faced with multiple difficulties, such as stagflation of communication environment, lack of coordination of communication subjects, lack of pertinence of communication audiences, and weak influence of communication media. To this end, the international communication efficiency of the common values of humanity should be comprehensively improved through multi-dimensional approaches such as optimizing the international communication environment, integrating international communication subjects, subdividing international communication audiences and selecting strategies, and creating international communication media matrix.
