Abstract:The social alienation of community correction objects is related to individual development and social stability, and is an important part of promoting the construction of a safe China. Based on the survey data of community correction objects in S city in 2019, the research explored the influence mechanism of the perceived discrimination on social alienation of community correction objects from the perspective of identity integration and social support. It is found that perceived discrimination has both a direct effect on social alienation and an indirect effect through identity integration and social support. Identity integration and social support play roles of self-transformation and external protection between perceived discrimination and social alienation. Therefore, when external discrimination cannot be completely eliminated, in order to alleviate the social alienation of community correction objects, attention should be paid to enhancing the integration of individual identity and strengthening the beneficial support, so as to promote their smooth return to society.
