Abstract:At present, China's food security is facing problems such as insufficient power of food production, imbalance of food supply and demand structure, excessive pressure on resources and environment, weak competitiveness of food industry and low production efficiency, which has brought certain hidden dangers to the national economic and social stability. During the 14th Five-Year Plan period, we need to continue to implement the new development concept and constantly improve the existing food security system under the complex development situation, so as to ensure the sustainable development of domestic economy and society during the 14th Five Year Plan period and even in the future. Specifically, we should break through the bottleneck of grain production with the concept of innovation, resolve the contradiction of grain structure with the concept of coordination, alleviate the pressure of resources and environment with the concept of green, prevent the risk of international grain trade with the concept of openness, improve the overall efficiency of grain production with the concept of sharing, and jointly improve China's grain security capacity.
