Abstract:Japanese annotation played an essential role in the process of HanShan Poetry introduced to Japan. The Japanese annotation of three poems A Girl in the Town of Emei, My Heart is Like an Autumn Moon and Quite Elegant, the Hangshan suggests the conciseness and ethereality of the popular style of Japanese poetry. Bai Juyi’s plain style influenced the Japanese Poetry, so that Han Shan’s free frank image was recognized. Japanese translation annotation attaches importance to the linguistic features of Japanese, so they put nature view and Zen consciousness into the text to create the artistic conception. They focus on the religious intention and Zen consciousness of the verse, which makes Cold Mountain Poems spread and recognized by Japanese people. The dissemination of HanShan Poems in Japan, is a model for Sino-Japanese cultural integration.
