Abstract:Musho Josho(1234-1306) was a Japanese Zen monk who came to China in 1252 and returned to Japan in1265. During his 14 years in China, at first he practiced Zen under Shixi Xinyue at Jingshan Temple and inherited the dhama from Xiniyue four years later. After his return from China, he never forgot Xinyue’s teaching, and was fully bent upon the dissemination of Zen.
