Abstract:In Little Eyolf, the misunderstanding of ethical identity directly caused Allmer to violate the basic ethical principles. The Allmer’s violating ethical principles and abandoning the responsibility result in the misfortune of little Eyolf, whose death illustrates that the lack of responsibility and ethics will lead to serious consequences. Asta inhibites his wrong desires under the guidance of rational factor and avoid ethical confusion and the tragedy of incest. This shows that only by obeying the ethical principles and properly controlling desires can human avoid the tragedy of life.
