Abstract:The general characteristics of the environment of China’s social credit management and the development of credit management industry are manifested by the rising demand of credit management service, the increasing cost of social credit risk, the local enterprises weak consciousness of credit risk, the developing social credit risk management and the structural imbalance in social credit risk management. To strengthen China’s social credit risk management, we should not only draw lessons from other countries but also adopt the rational and effective measures suitable to the development level of China’s credit industry and credit risk management. First, we should seriously strengthen national credit management; second, we should attach much importance to social credit management with the help of laws and regulations; third, we should give full play to the role of market forces and market mechanism in constructing social credit management; fourth, we should greatly develop credit industry and promote the industrialized operation of credit industry; and fifth, we should attach equal importance to reward to credibility and to punishment to discredit.
