Abstract:Since David Hume brought forward “Induction Problem”, considerations of philosophers have focused on answers to it. However, the purpose of my paper is not on how to resolve the problem, but on the reason why induction becomes a problem. My viewpoint is that the reason why Hume considered induction as a problem is because he ignored the factor of TIME during the course of induction. So, induction problem is led to by the relation between the application of induction and unexperienced world, by the conflicting relation between the way in which human being gets confirmable knowledges and the way in which man lives. Summarily, Induction Problem is the product of the tension between finite human being and infinite world.
