Abstract In the study of knowledge transfer, the transfer capability of subjects has been the key point. When the objective conditions are constant, the individuals ability to transfer knowledge is the main reason for the difference in the transfer effect, which is the common understanding of the researchers. The existing research has not been clear and systematic to the definition and system of the individual knowledge transfer ability. In this study, literature analysis and expert interviews were used to construct knowledge transfer capability system firstly. And then, behavior experiments and questionnaires were conducted for collecting a large sample data. Finally, factor analysis and criterion related validity analysis were tested to verify the knowledge transfer capability system. Through validating and correcting, researchers obtain Knowledge Transfer Capability System in the end. The research builds a clearer, systematic, specific and measurable knowledge transfer ability and its index system, enriches the theory of knowledge sharing and transfer, and provides basic support for relative researches on knowledge transfer.
