Abstract Based on the trading data of agricultural products from 1995 to 2013, the paper analyzes the current situation and the trade structure of the main agricultural products between China and the five Central Asian countries and conducts empirical analysis of the trade potential of the main agricultural products between China and the five Central Asian countries through the gravity model. Based on the analysis, it puts forward related suggestions about how to further promote the cooperation between China and the five Central Asian countries in order to further improve the potential of bilateral trade of agricultural products to an greater extent.
