Abstract Network embedding has become one of the main factors affecting the large-scale complex products manufacturing supply chain performance. China’s aviation manufacturing industry, for example, on the basis of analysis of the dimension of the network structural embeddedness and relational embeddedness, the study assumptions of the relationship between supply chain network embeddedness with the performance of the supply chain are put forward, and the corresponding theoretical models are constructed. Through empirical analysis to investigate the mechanism of supply chain network embedded in supply chain performance. Research results show that the supply chain network structural embeddedness (node degree and betweenness centrality degrees) and relational embeddedness (trust, information sharing and joint problem solving) for large-scale complex products manufacturing supply chain performance has a significant impact, and the structural embeddedness and relational embeddedness exist between the theoretical structure relationships.
