Features of Succeeding Models in Private Enterprises and Their Path Selection Studies |

Abstract In this paper, we discuss three main models of succeeding in private enterprises: internal succeeding, professional manager and team succeeding model, and analyze their respective features. According to Resource-Based View, we have built different selection paths, and set up preconditions for different succeeding paths. Results show that the succeeding pattern in private enterprises has already shifted from the heir to father to the heir to father’s businesses, along with the simultaneous involvement of professional managers and managing teams. This research has significant implications for private firms’ choosing appropriate succeeding patterns under different conditions.
