Abstract Closed-loop supply chain management aims at both ecological and economical benefits. The profitable reuse is crucial to sustainable development. This paper focuses on the researches on the business value of closed-loop supply chain, and integrates front end, middle end and back end to analyze the new research development. After examining the evolution of CLSC research from technical perspective to business perspective is reviewed, the front end of product recycling management is analyzed from the perspectives of subjects, incentives and time value, and the back end is analyzed from the perspectives of marketing and value assessment of re-sale product. Finally, future research is put forward.
