Abstract The quality of government statistical data affects many aspects of social life. We first analyze and summarize the manifestations and the possible consequences of government statistical data distortion, and then investigate the causes from different perspectives. Finally, some targeted countermeasures are suggested to enhance the quality of government statistical data.
