Abstract Meta-product function model becomes a suitable method to measure the total product function for across data of variou districts. But to estimate the parameter has some problems. We have got a more general model through broadening its basic hypotheses,that is, heterogeneity variance model, which has been proved to be superior to meta-product function model with empirical data.
