Abstract Logistics customer service has important influence on competitiveness and performance of consigners, especially to Chinese companies, how to realize effective logistics cost management utilizing third-party logistics service has become the major research issue. Based on literature review of customer service, this paper explore the relationship between various third-party influential service factors and logistics cost management performance of consigners by using multivariable regression analysis, We propose that the value-added service content and greater contribution of service level have positive effect on consigners' cost management performance, and these results has valuable instruction to third-party logistics on how to provide customer service effectively as well as effectiveness.
