Abstract By empirical study, this paper finds that the difference of attribute of compensation system among different townships business is not prominent in the whole, but prominent in some dimensions, which are basing on longevity or performance, the proportions of fix/float part to total compensation, and the emphasis on internal/external equity. In the mean time, this paper discovers that the compensation systems of all townships businesses emphasize job, performance, short-term compensation, internal equity. In addition, this paper also finds that the level of total compensation of employee in foreign company is equal to which in private business, private businesses pay the most attention on performance; the employee of foreign company participate salary decision lest
