Abstract Since 1980, worldwide foreign direct investment (FDI) has grown at a remarkable rate. Many researchers have begun to focus on FDI since that time. But on the whole, most empirical studies are based on bilateral FDI relationship between the home and host country, ignoring the role of the third related country and the interaction in FDI cross the host countries. From the perspective of the space, this paper used the spatial econometric techniques and panel data model to study the interaction in FDI cross the host provinces in China, and analysed the cause of the interdependence in FDI cross the host provinces.
