Abstract “Precipitation” is the main source of China time-honored brand’s value advantage. This research structures the dynamic model of precipitation input to analyze the invalidation, activation and realization of China time-honored brand’s value, and use the case of Nanjing Guan Sheng Yuan and the research sample of 30 listed companies of China time-honored brand during 2005 to 2016 to empirically study how innovative capital investment affect the value of China time-honored brand. The results show that: the tangible and intangible precipitation endow China time-honored brand with the humanistic and historical implication, which is the unique advantage of China time-honored brand value. The two sides of “Precipitation” need China time-honored brand pay attention to the rational and effective use of it, and avoid being an obstacle to the activation of China time-honored brand’s value . The innovative capital investment, which active “Precipitation”, can become an important means for enterprises to inherit the core competence, and effectively promote the recovery and realization of China time-honored brand value. In view of this, China Time-honored Brand should actively take “the Belt and Road” car, strengthen the localization and modernization of China time-honored brand, improve the innovation-driven capability of enterprises, and appeal to the government to implement the strategy about activating China time-honored brand to create a favorable environment for development.
