Abstract This study focuses on the value creation activities of goods-vehicles matching platform, with Yun Manman as an example, to analyzes the evolution of the platform value creation logic, and summarizes the successful experience of Yun Manman, providing experience for the development of the goods-vehicles matching platform. The results of the study show that goods-vehicles matching business is a value co-creation activity of multiple participants. While the logistics platform enterprises are involved in the matching business, a new cargo-vehicle matching ecosystem is formed, which helps the platform to provide other value-added services, and changes not only the factors of value outcomes, but also the value co-creation of the participants. The platform goes through the change from “re-intermediation” to “de-intermediation”, the continuous creation of “social value” provides conditions for the evolution of the ecosystem.
